Spotlight on Cambridge Neighbourhoods: HESPELER

Cambridge, Ontario is an amazing and diverse city made up of a selection of unique neighbourhoods to call home. However, before you buy a home in any neighbourhood, you'll want to do some research and make sure it's the right place for you and your needs - if you have a family to keep in mind, if you need to be close to the office, or if you need to be near the best jogging trails, and everything in-between.

In this article, I'll be going into depth about Hespeler, one of my personal favourite neighbourhoods in Cambridge. One of the great things about Hespeler is that the houses range from brand new to historic homes that are over 100 years old. The Speed River runs through the middle of Hespeler and nature lovers will appreciate the miles of scenic trails that surround it. Downtown Hespeler has been continuously improved during the past few years and we even had a James Franco sighting when he was shooting a movie here a few years ago.

Hespeler, Cambridge Neighbourhoods:

Below you'll find some of the unique neighbourhoods that are located right inside of Hespeler, each with something different to offer.

Silver Heights/Blackbridge

This area of Hespeler is a newer area with most homes and condos less than 30 years old. You'll have quick access to the Speed River Trail and you'll be able to make your way down to Preston's Riverside Park if you want!

Hillcrest/Forbes Park

One of the most popular neighbourhoods in Hespeler, Hillcrest/Forbes Park is a mature neighbourhood that features large lots, big trees and lots of character. You'll have very easy access to Downtown Hespeler's shops, restaurants, and newly finished library.

Hillcrest/Cooper/Towline Estates

Forming the east side of Hespeler, this neighbourhood contains homes that are 25 years old and under. Very close to Highway 401, this area is a commuter's dream and family-friendly - it's near new schools and strip malls.

Woodland Park/Cambrian Hills

Some of Hespeler's nicest streets are found in this neighbourhood. The majority of homes here are less than 60 years old and feature large square footage with attached garages. Most of these homes have very high curb appeal thanks to the mature trees that grow here.

Briardean, River Flats, & Beaverdale

If you're looking for a luxurious home and huge property, this part of Hespeler is for you. With lots of space and conservation areas to take in, you'll also be nearby to highways 24 and 401 - making you only a stone's throw away from Kitchener and Guelph.

Welcome to the Hespeler Neighbourhood

Hespeler is the perfect neighbourhood for commuters as it's located just north of Highway 401. You'll be able get to Kitchener or Guelph in 10 minutes, Milton in 25 minutes, and Toronto or London in only an hour.
